Obituary of Jack Orrange

ORRANGE, Jack – At London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Campus on Monday, August 16, 2010, Jack died with family by his side at the age of 63. A loving man to his wife Bernie for 40 years and children Stephanie Orrange (Mike Peddigrew) and Brian Orrange (Kim Gilbert). Fun loving Grandpa Jack to Chloe and Connor Peddigrew. Cherished brother of Jim (Teressa) Orrange; and brother-in-law of Pat (Bob) Gleason and Mary (Larry) Laforet. Predeceased by his parents James and Kathleen. He will be remembered by his many relatives and friends as a generous and caring person. Jack retired from Dow Chemical in 1999 and was a dedicated and faithful volunteer with the St. Vincent de Paul. Since his retirement he worked with Lambton Shared Services. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church on Friday, August 20th at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Corunna. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, 106 East St., Sarnia N7T 7H9. A tree will be planted in memory of Jack Orrange in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 19th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
