Obituary of Irene Green-Zuk

GREEN-ZUK, Irene – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the age of 64. Loving mother of Kim Stephenson, Macomb Twp., MI. Dear daughter of Helen Zuk Nouvel, Corunna. Sister of Ted Zuk, Sarnia, Donna (Gary) St. Jean, Sarnia, Wendy (Tim) Toms, Wallaceburg and Barb (Don) Legarrie, Corunna. Special friend of Judy Green, Sarnia and she will also be missed by her many other friends including Camille, Shelley and Kathy. Also surviving is her “grand-dog” Theo as well several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Les Zuk and John Zuk. Irene had a heart of gold. She never turned away from someone who needed her loving help. She will always be remembered for her unique sense of humour which she kept up until the end. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday from 9-11 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Monday at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by Fr. Jim Higgins. Cremation to follow.
