Obituary of Joseph Jack Ladanchuk
LADANCHUK, Joseph Jack – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice with family by his side, Joe died on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at the age of 61. Beloved husband of Evelyn (nee Hawryluk) for 39 years. Loving father of Shane and his wife Heidi and Paul and his wife Jennifer. Proud Grandpa to Wyatt and Sophia and Gidu to Owen, Isac, Alivia and Evan. Dear brother of Jerry (Trudy) Ladanchuk, Sandy (Joe) DeMeester and brother-in-law of Lenora (Tom) McCahill. Cherished son-in-law of Myrs and Mary Hawryluk. Predeceased by his parents Jack (1995) and Blondie (2009), brother Dan (1976) and sister Barb (1980). After 38 years of service as a pipefitter and welder with the Local 663, Joe retired in 2008. In his spare time he loved to fish, cook and hunt. Friends and family will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Joe’s life will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 1 p.m. with The Rev’d David Hewett officiating. Interment Lakeview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospice, 475 N.
