Obituary of Edwin Wesley Monk

MONK, Edwin Wesley – Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice on Friday, January 28, 2011, Edwin died at the age of 81.  Beloved husband of Gina for 29 years. Loving father of Melanie Evers (Michael Kohut), Jamie Nichols, Darcy Parr (Eric Kirkman) and Wesley Monk (Jane Jacobs); and step-father of Ivana Strano and Dario Grana.  Proud grandfather and great-grandfather.  Dear brother of Ada, Dorothy, Marion and Margaret.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by his daughters Marlene and Debra, son Larry, son-in-law Wayne and stepson Sandro.  Private arrangements are entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.  As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to VON, 1705 London Line, Sarnia, ON, N7W 1B4 or St. Jospeph’s Hospice, 475 N.
