SPOLSKY, “Slava” Yaroslava Tatiana – At her residence with family by her side on Friday, December 17, 2010, Slava died at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Roman (1973). Loving mother of Lydia and her husband Michael Power of Richmond Hill and Martha and her husband Myron Pylypiak of Windsor. Proud grandmother of Mark and Aaron Power, Daria and Andrew Pylypiak. Slava was born in Ukraine and emigrated to Canada after W.W.II. She was a member of St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church and the UCWL for many years. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. with Panakhyda at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Edward Yarema at St. George’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1045 Rosedale Ave., Sarnia on Monday, December 20th at 10 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
