Obituary of Vina Gauthier

GAUTHIER (LAFRENIERE), Vina – At Vision Nursing Home on Thursday, June 4, 2009, Vina died at the age of 93. Loving mother of Roma (the late David) Reely, Sarnia, Genevieve (James) Lough, Sarnia and Ronald (Liliane) Gauthier, Orleans, ON. Proud grandmother of Richard Reely (Sandy), Kanata and Robert Reely, Sarnia, Diane Jarvis, Calgary, Pascal Gauthier (Veronique), Orleans, Francis Gauthier, Vancouver, Marc Gauthier (Shannon), Sarnia and Jim Lough (Justine), Sarnia; great-grandmother of Krista and Brandon Jarvis, Shane Reely and Noah Gauthier. Predeceased by her sisters Celine Pitre, Blanche Ladouceur, Orilda Clement, Corinne Lamoureux and Rita Brassard and brothers Valere, Aldege and Rheo Lafreniere. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will celebrated by Fr. Terence Runstedler on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the charity of their choice.
