MAOLA, Maria – Surrounded by her children, Maria passed away peacefully at Twin Lakes Terrace on Monday, September 21, 2009 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Francesco (Frank) Maola. Dear mother of Dario and his wife Janet, Sarnia, Emily and her husband Ray Blakeney, Georgetown and Tony and his wife Olga, Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Carlo (Joanne) Maola, Sarnia, Chad (Crystal) Maola, Florida, Meagan Blakeney, Georgetown and Ryan Maola, Sarnia. Great-grandmother of Cache Maola. Sister of Matilda, Josephine, Chris, Tom and Emilio. Maria’s family would like to thank the staff of Twin Lakes Terrace for their excellent care of Mom during her stay there. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins on Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Benedict’s Church. Entombment Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum.
