Obituary of James William Callery
CALLERY, James William – James passed away suddenly at his residence on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the age of 45. Eldest son of Tom and Kay Callery, Kingston. Loving brother of John (Marie) Callery, Athens, Ray (Mary Ann) Callery, Napanee and Karen (Derek) Callery-Broomfield, Ajax. James was very committed to the Knight’s of Columbus. He was a past Grand Knight and presently a 4th Degree Knight. James was a lifelong member of Scouts Canada including the B.P. Guild and was actively involved in his community. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Bedard at St. Benedict’s Church on Thursday at 10 a.m. Following the funeral mass in Sarnia, James will taken home to Kingston where visitation, funeral mass and burial will be held. A tree will be planted in memory of James Callery in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 19th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
