Obituary of Elaine Marie Banks

BANKS, Elaine Marie – At Bluewater Health, Palliative Care on Sunday, November 1, 2009, Elaine died at the age of 53. Beloved wife of Bob, Sarnia. Loving mother of Diane Banks and her husband Raymond Dempster, Toronto, Melissa and her husband Chad Mitchell, Guelph, and Rebecca Banks and her fiance Kris Reed, Sarnia. Dear sister of Fredrick (Rose) Leroux, Apple Hill, Leo (Georgette) Leroux, Monkland, Lucille LaPlante, Cornwall, Gerald (Barbara) Leroux, Strathmore, Marcel (Audrey) Leroux, Monkland, Clifford (Greta) Leroux, Monkland; and sister-in-law of Donald Grant, Martintown. Predeceased by her sisters Leona Grant and Lillian (Joseph) St. Louis. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardin at St. Michael’s Church (Bright’s Grove) on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private family inurnment at Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum.
