Obituary of Josephine Zamodits

ZAMODITS, Josephine "Janet" - At Marshall Gowland Manor on Tuesday, February 20, 2007, Janet died peacefully at the age of 71 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Huba Zamodits (2000). Loving mother of Mark and Paul. Dear sister of Rachel Hands and her husband Brian and cousin of Roy Pepper and his wife Mary. Dear friend of the Carter, Hopkins, and Kershaw families. Janet was born in Calcutta, India and was educated at Bristol University in England. She came to Sarnia with Huba in 1967. Janet was a devoted member of St. Bartholomew's Church and a supporter of the Community Living Association. Arrangements by McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home, 519-344-3131. A memorial service will be held at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church on Friday, February 23, 2007 at 1 p.m. and will be officiated by The Rev. Rachael Parker. The family will receive friends at a reception immediately following the service in the parish hall. Private interment to take place at Lakeview Cemetery.
