Obituary of Eva Bartkus

BARTKUS, Eva - Suddenly at Trillium Health Centre, Mississauga, on Sunday, March 4, 2007, EVA BARTKUS died at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Tadas (1991). Loving mother of Peter Bartkus. Dear sister of Katarina Downs of Vancouver and Liesellotte Berger of Berlin, Germany. Eva worked at the Sarnia General Hospital Laboratory for many years where she attained the position of Charge Technician of Special Chemistry. She was a member of the German-Canadian Ladies Group. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, March 9th at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by Allan McKeown. Interment to follow at Blackwell Cemetery. Friends who wish may forward memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd., Sarnia N7T 4Y1. A tree has been planted in memory of Eva Bartkus in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest.
