Obituary of George Allan Thomson

THOMSON - At Bluewater Health - Mitton Site on Tuesday, March 20, 2007. GEORGE ALLAN THOMSON, age 61 of Sarnia. Loving father of Alexandria & her husband Chad Delor, St. Clair, Mi., and Alexander Thomson & Kari, Port Huron. Grandfather of Damion, Timothy, Mitchell and Maddisyn Burke also Andrew, Emily and Celia Thomson. Son of Germaine and the late Allan Thomson, Sarnia. Brother of Claudia & her husband Ron Mills, Sarnia and Diane & her husband Rene Croteau, and friend Katherine Thomson-Schoots, Kimball, Mi. George will be missed by all his friends at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 62. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home Friday at 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 10 a.m. and will be officiated by Fr. Stan Soltysik. Cremation to follow. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Poppy Fund, 286 N. Front St., Sarnia, N7T 5S7. A tree has been planted in memory of George Thomson in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest.
