Obituary of Mary McCrie

MARY L. McCRIE (nee Burr) died at Bluewater Health - Norman St. Site at the age 80. Beloved wife of William for 57 years and dear mother of sons and daughter-in-laws Bill & Victoria, David & Rosemary and Robert & Catherine. Mary will be fondly remembered as a very loving grandmother to Madeline, Michelle, Jillian and Harrison. Survived by her sisters Katherine, Lorraine and Dorothy and missed by her niece and nephews Jack, Jeff, Glen, Martin, Chris, Tracy and Pamela. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Beverly Gibson. Mary dedicated her life to kindness, caring and love to all who knew her. A lifetime member of St. Giles Presbyterian Church, Mary was well known for her contribution to various committees including the nursery, Sunday School and the many worthwhile activities of the Women of St Giles. Mary made friends wherever she went and loved the time spent with the "Craft Girls" and the special friends she made during her summers of sailing. A memorial service will be held at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 770 Lakeshore Road, Sarnia on Wednesday, June 6th at 1:00 PM. Cremation has taken place.
