Obituary of Margaret Grace Maheu

MAHEU, Margaret Grace (Benware) - Died at Sumac Lodge on Sunday, August 26, 2007 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Richard James Maheu. Dear mother of Marie Findlay & husband John, Camlachie and Grace Bowman, Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Beverly Bowman and the late David Bowman. Survived by sister-in-law June Sparling and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Gabriel Benware, Jack Sparling and sister Mae Punch. Special thanks to faithful nieces Isobel, Margaret and Darlene; and special friends Earl and Susan, whose visits always brought a smile to Margaret's face. Margaret was a member of the O.L.M. Catholic Women's League and was a former employee of St. Joseph's Hospital in the housekeeping department. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 2-4 p.m at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia. Prayers will be offered at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Matthew Bedard on Friday, August 31, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
