Obituary of Frederick William Malarchuk
MALARCHUK, Frederick William - In his 91st year, passed away with his beloved wife Josephine and sister-in-law Marie Frenkowski at his side at Vision Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 4, 2007. He was very proud of his service with The Royal Canadian Air Force and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. 62. As a resident of Point Edward for almost fifty years, he was a parishioner of St. Edward the Confessor Church and also Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knight's of Columbus, Dow President's Club, Sarnia Golf and Curling Club and a retired employee of Dow Chemical. He was predeceased by a sister Anne Nemish of Oshawa and a sister Sophie Ross of Wallaceburg. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Josephine (Jo) (Frenkowski), daughter Judith Ellsworth and son-in-law Gerald Ellswoth of Ormond Beach, Florida; a granddaughter Erika Leigh Ellsworth who was the "love of his life" of Jacksonville, Florida; a sister Mary Evanoff of Toronto, a sister-in-law Marie Frenkowski of Sarnia and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N. on Friday from 3 -7. p.m. The Royal Canadian Legion will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home Friday at 6:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. officiated by Fr.
