Obituary of Angela Domenica Iannozzi

IANNOZZI, Angela Domenica (nee Ventre) - Surrounded by her family, passed away peacefully at Bluewater Health - Norman Site on Monday, October 15, 2007 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of the late Umberto. Loving mother of Anna Brennan (Frank), Rita D'Andrea (Tony) and Ben Iannozzi. Cherished "nonna" of Dino, Daniella and Derek D'Andrea and Tara, Andrea and Patrick Brennan. Dear sister-in-law of Cataldo Iannozzi (Rita) and Anachleto of Italy, Pasqualina and Guillerma of France. Dear aunt of John Iannozzi (Roseanne) and the late Frank Iannozzi. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews in Italy and France. Predeceased by her parents, Maria and Filipo Ventre and brothers and sisters, Donato, Carmella, Palmina, Gerardo, Antoinetta, and Rosetta. After many years struggling with numerous health problems, Angela has been reunited with the love of her life, Umberto. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends. The family would like to thank the staff of the Bluewater Health, Norman Site, 4 North Continuing Care for their comfort and caring. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 3:45 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Benedict's Church on Thursday, October 18th at 10 a.m. Entombment Our Lady of Mercy Mausoleum. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Diabetes Association, 415 Exmouth St., Sarnia N7T 8A4 or the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd., Sarnia N7T 4Y1. A tree will be planted in memory of Angela Iannozzi in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area.
