Obituary of Tony Ladanchuk

LADANCHUK, Antonio “Tony” – It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Tony at St. Joseph’s Hospice, with family by his side. Born September 29, 1928, died July 20, 2010. Dear husband of Ivy “Jackie” Ladanchuk, father of Katherine (Jerry) Chaplick, Debbie (Hugh) Bain, Janet (John) Surins, Kim (Tim) Eberle, and Mark (Fiona) Ladanchuk. Grandfather to 13 grandchildren. Brother to Jennie Nusca and Katherine McLaughlin. Uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Jack and Annie Ladanchuk, brothers Steve, Jack and Walter and sister Lucy Kornet. Tony was a member of Local 787 for fifty plus years. He also taught tech classes at Central Collegiate Institute and was the co-owner of Petro Thermal Maintenance. Tony was an avid outdoorsman and loved camping, hunting and fishing. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Thursday from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 23rd at 11 a.m. with Angela MacDonald officiating.
