Obituary of Harry John Pozdyk

POZDYK, Harry John – Surrounded by his loving family and friends, Harry died at Bluewater Health on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the age of 64. Beloved husband and best friend of Gisele (Marleau) for 43 years. Loving father of Harry Jr. (Michelle) Pozdyk, Sarnia and Sherrie (Mark) Janjatovic, Corunna. Proud grampy of Nathaniel and Benjamin Pozdyk and Ryan Janjatovic. Dear brother of Judy (late Fred) Green, Toronto, Cathie (Mike) D'Agostino, Sudbury, late Bill Pozdyk Jr., Dianne (Bernie) Gauthier, Sarnia, Gladys (Mike) Lahaie, Sudbury, Frank (Lise) Pozdyk, Sudbury, Frances DeWitt (Chris), Sudbury and Paul Pozdyk (Christine). Also surviving are many cherished nieces, nephews and close friends. Predeceased by parents William & Lorraine Pozdyk. Harry worked as an electrician at Cabot Canada for 40 years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports. Harry generously gave of his time and was always there for friends and family who needed him. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 11 a.m. with Allan McKeown officiating. Cremation to follow.
