QUAID, Marie Adeline (Lavigne) – At St. Joseph's Hospice on Sunday, January 5, 2014, Marie Quaid died at the age of 83. Dear mother of Terry (Louise) Quaid, Bright's Grove, Scott (Debbie) Quaid, P.E.I., Glenn (Terri Lynn) Quaid, Sarnia and Tami Sands, Toronto. Loving grandmother of Jennifer, Paul, Neil, Nick, Mike, Shayne, Tyler, Leisha, Kai, Shawna and Mitchell. Great-grandmother of Colin, Emma Ray, Olivia May, Cole, Grace and Landon. Sister of Dora (Ed) Chamberlain, Sarnia, Bea (Frank) Dunford, Tilbury, Noreen (Phil) Boudreau, St. John, N.B. and Al Lavigne, Corunna. Predeceased by parents Edmond & Alexina Lavigne, brothers Jerry and Lincoln Lavigne and by granddaughter Misty Sands. Marie was born in Bathurst, N.B. and has lived in Sarnia since 1950. She was a former employee of K-Mart having worked there for 17 years. A private service will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia.
