Obituary of Olimpio DiRezze

DIREZZE, Olimpio– Peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on Friday, July 12, 2013 Olimpio " The King" DiRezze died at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Janette (Moore) DiRezze (1998). Loving father of Linda DiRezze and Chris Moore & his wife Diane, Sarnia. Proud papa of Scott, Nicholas and Daniel Moore. Dear brother of the late Fiore DiRezze & his wife Maria, Sarnia. Also survived by his nieces Sandra Floyd & her husband Christopher, Laura DiRezze & her fiancé Jamey Robinson and nephew Paul DiRezze and his children Nicolas & Rachel-Lynn all of Sarnia. Sadly missed by his "babies" Bailey & Brandi his loving dogs. Predeceased by his parents Clelia & Vittorio. Olimpio was a member of the Labourers Union Local 1089 and a long time member of the Dante Club. He loved to work in his garden, paying special attention to his tomatoes. Olimpio liked to play cards and enjoyed fishing. The love of his life was his family and spending time with them brought him great joy. Olimpio will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who loved and knew him. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday, July 15th from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Vince Gulikers at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday 10 a.m Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to charity of choice.
