Obituary of Frances Margaret "Fran" Fedora

FEDORA – Frances “Fran” Margaret –Surrounded by her family at Bluewater Health on Monday, July 1, 2013, Fran Fedora died suddenly at the age of 57. Beloved wife of James “Jim” Fedora. Loving mother of Jared Fedora, Sarnia and Jazmine Fedora & her partner Michael Wilfong, Kitchener. Cherished Nini of Joscelyn “Jomo” Fedora-Teather, Sarnia. Special family members Kimberly Thomas and Scott Cooper. Dear sister of Margaret Finnigan, John & Joe Arlow all of Ireland. Daughter-in-law of Jean Fedora, Sault Ste. Marie. Sister-in-law of Sue Fedora, Sault Ste. Marie and Helen Wallace & her husband Glenn, N.S. Also survived by her adopted family “Ma & Pa” Jack & Marlene Smith and their daughter Diane Smith. Fran was a Beaver leader with Scouts Canada for 35 years. She was a strong supporter and volunteer for the Sarnia and District Human Society, where she enjoyed being a part of the People-Pet Walk-a-thon. Fran was an active member of the Parrot Heads of St. Clair. An avid gardner, Fran loved to spend time in her gardens watching the birds. Fran had a passion for turtles and the Florida Keys. She will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received for a memorial celebration at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, 7- 9 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2013. To honour Fran, shorts, flip flops and tropical attire would be appropriate.
