Obituary of Linda Marie Banovsky

BANOVSKY, Linda Marie – Suddenly at her home on Sunday, June 23, 2013, Linda Marie Banovsky died at the age of 59. Beloved wife of Mike P. Banovsky. Loving mother of Michael Banovsky & his partner Katherine Taylor, Toronto and Ingrid Banovsky & her partner Michael Parrott, Sarnia. Dear sister of Raymond Clement & his wife Rania, Toronto and Marjorie Wark & her husband Dave, Sarnia. Cherished daughter-in-law of Mike & Teresa Banovsky, Sarnia. Sister-in-law of Margaret Holmes & her husband Richard and Helen (Eileen) Vidler & her husband Jon, all of Sarnia. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Ernest & Madeline Clement. She will be especially missed by the family pets, Astrid and Arcee. Linda was an incredibly loving, talented and creative individual. As a teacher with the Catholic District School Board, Linda had a passion for the children she taught. She was always proud to hear of her students' accomplishments and felt blessed to have played a part in their success. Time spent with her family was most important to Linda, whether it be dinners, walks by the water or travelling. She loved the latest fashions, sewing and reading. Linda will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew and loved her. A private family celebration of Linda's life will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia. In lieu of flowers the family would prefer memorial donations to Pathways Health Centre for Children, 1240 Murphy Rd., Sarnia, N7S 2Y2 or Victim Services of Sarnia Lambton, 555 Christina St. N., Sarnia, N7T 7X6.
