Obituary of Georgette Marie Rose

ROSE, Georgette Marie (Langlois) – Suddenly at Bluewater Health on Tuesday, May 21, 2013, Georgette Rose of Sarnia (formerly of St. Thomas) died at the age of 75, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Ronald for 57 years. Loving mother of Daniel Rose & wife Melanie, Port Stanley, Jayne Collier & husband Al, Sarnia and Julie Bear & husband Jeff, St. Thomas. Proud grandmother of Joseph & Lauren Rose, Terresa Douglass (Rod), Andrea Crespo (Alvaro), Kyle & Emily Scott, Alexandria & Paige Bear. Cherished great-grandmother of Caitlyn & Chloe Douglass, Luca & Talia Crespo. Dear sister of Dick Langlois, Moosejaw, SK, George (Cecile) Langlois, Orleans, ON and Jeannette Savoie, Regina, SK. Predeceased by parents Florence & Adelard Langlois, daughter Lorri Maitland, granddaughter Christina Rose and 8 siblings. Georgette was a long time member of the Catholic Women's League, Holy Angels Church, St. Thomas. She loved quilting, reading and special times with family. She will be forever missed but lovingly remembered by all who loved and knew her. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Friday, May 24th, 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Raju Allumpurath at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, May 25th at 10 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
