I wear the John Boy bracelet from John's fundraiser 'way back on April 10, 2012. I first met John afterward, at his first ALS support group meeting in London, and I was struck by the generous heart, the gentle strength, the combined resolve and humour with which he faced ALS, but mostly his great love for his family, the three little treasures of his heart, and the love of his life, Tammy, who stood beside him in their courageous battle against the hurricane that is ALS. I dedicate my Walk to John, whose loss is keenly felt by everyone he met. May his loved ones find peace and strength always in the memory of his love. Rest well, friend. Thank you for sharing your precious gifts with the world. I am very lucky to have known you.
