Obituary of David John Elliott
ELLIOTT, David John, passed away suddenly at the Bluewater Health Hospital in Sarnia, Ontario on Sunday, September 9, 2012. David was 57 years old. Beloved husband and best friend of Sandra Monteith. Loving step-father of Vicki Lucier of Waubaushene, Ontario and Billy Whitteker of Peachland, B.C. Grandfather of Rowan. Dear brother of Kerwin (Freda) of Lively, Ontario and Tommy (Jennie) of Brockville, Ontario. David is also survived by several nieces and nephews. David was predeceased by his parents William and Bernadette and his brother Brent. David worked as a wheelsmans with the Canadian Coast Guard and steered many a Lake ship on the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River. He also crossed the Arctic Circle in 1974 in the C.C.G. Ship Griffon. David has left us with many great stories. We are all blessed to have been a part of his life.
