Obituary of Abel Mendonca Espinola

ESPINOLA, Abel Mendonca – In Portugal on Saturday, July 14, 2012, Abel died peacefully at the age 75 after a short battle with cancer.  Beloved husband of the late Maria (2001).  Dear brother of Amorin (Maria) Mendonca and Generosa (Bernardinho) DaCunha.  Also survived by family friends Maria (Agostinho) daSilva and their family, and nieces and nephews in Canada and Portugal.  Predeceased by his parents, four sisters and one brother.  Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. where prayers will offered at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at St. Benedict’s Church on Wednesday, July 25th at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
