Obituary of Eveline Huguette Lacroix

LACROIX, Eveline - After a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by her family at St. Joseph's Hospice on Wednesday, November 5, 2014, Eveline Lacroix died at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Morris Lacroix. Loving mother of Cathy Cromwell & her husband Mike, Sarnia. Cherished grandmother of Michaela, Christopher and Erin. Dear sister of Rene Girard & his wife Patricia and Ron Girard & his wife Carol, Sarnia. Aunt of Brian, Shawn, Michael, Todd, Shannon, Jennifer & Sarah. Predeceased by her parents Marie-Ange & Christopher Girard. Eveline retired after 37 years working as a Dietary Aid for Sarnia General & St. Joseph's Hospitals. Her passion was her family and she enjoyed spending time crafting, playing cards and camping. Eveline was a long time member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Monday, November 10th from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel immediately following visitation on Monday at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Fr. Kathemo Mukucha. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
