Obituary of Gwen Duchesne

DUCHESNE, Gwen Rose - April 21, 1960 to September 19, 2011…Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice in Sarnia.  She will be deeply missed by her loving son, Joshua; her devoted parents, Bill & Joyce of Grand Bend, her sister Joanne (Mark), Oakville, her Toddy, along with all of her “Angels” and friends who loved and supported her throughout her long journey with Breast Cancer.  She will also be dearly missed by many extended family members and friends who have been constant in their love, prayers and concern.  Deepest thanks and appreciation to Dr. Maddison and Dr. Dostelar and all the compassionate caregivers at St. Joseph’s Hospice.  A Celebration of Gwen’s Life will be held in Toronto at a later date.  Arrangements entrusted to the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home.  Memorial donations may be sent to the Breast Cancer Society.  A tree will be planted in memory of Gwen Duchesne in the McKenzie & Blundy Memorial Forest. Dedication service Sunday, September 16th, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Wawanosh Wetlands Conservation Area
