Obituary of Paul Frederick Tully

TULLY, Paul Frederick – At Bluewater Health on Friday, June 17, 2011 at the age of 69 after a long and courageous battle. Beloved husband of the late Ann (Tobin). Loved father of Greg Tully and his wife Linda of Georgetown, Bob Tully & his wife Darcy of Calgary and Steve Tully of Sarnia. Devoted and proud Grandfather of Kayla & Austin and Michael & Joshua. Brother of the late Jack Tully (Merle Lowe), Sarnia,  Keith (Jeanine) Tully, Sarnia, the late Terry (Erma) Tully, Calgary, the late Dennis (Marilyn) Tully, Lantz, Nova Scotia, Anne Allen, B.C., Pat (Marilyn) Tully, Marthaville and the late David (Karen) Tully, Sarnia. Brother-in-law of Gerry (Lois) Tobin of Thunder Bay, John (Linda) Tobin of Perkinsfield, Peter and David Tobin and Jane McLellan, Sarnia. Also surviving are several nieces & nephews. Predeceased by parents Harold & Marguerite Tully and father and mother-in-law Gerald & Frances Tobin. Paul was a lifetime Sarnia resident, graduating from St. Patrick’s High School where he met Ann.  Paul was a Stationary Engineer at Imperial Oil, retiring after 38 years of service.  Paul was an active bowler for years and took up biking and golfing.  He had several favourite hangouts in Sarnia, including the Union Hall, but in recent years most enjoyed the company of family and friends at his home. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Terence Runstedler at Our Lady of Mercy Church on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
