Obituary of David Neville Glew

GLEW, David Neville– At Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia on Saturday, October 18, 2014, David died at the age of 86. Beloved husband of the late Miriam (2014). Loving father of Michael Glew & his wife Kelly, Ottawa, Richard Glew & his wife Christine, Calgary, Ian Glew & his wife Csop, St. John's, and Jeni McAllister & her husband Steve, Mooretown. Cherished grandfather of Derek, Neil, Liam and Richard Glew and Rob McAllister. Predeceased by parents Leslie & Edith Glew and brother Peter Glew. He was born in Stamford, England and graduated from the University of Cambridge with a Ph.D., specializing in Physical Chemistry. David and Miriam lived in Ottawa, California, and South Africa prior to settling in Sarnia where David had a long career at Dow Chemical. In retirement, he and Miriam enjoyed daily walks with their dogs in Canatara Park. Cremation has taken place. At David's request there will be no service or visitation. Private family arrangements entrusted to the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 519-344-3131.
