Obituary of Nicholas Esa Bendek

BENDEK, NICHOLAS "NICK" - At London Health Sciences - University Hospital, London, on Friday, October 3, 2014, Nicholas Esa Bendek died at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Diana (Rishmawi). Loving father of Dina Preston & her husband Jeff, Sarnia and Esa Bendek & his wife Amanda, London. Cherished grandfather of Victoria Preston, Sarnia and Connor Bendek, London. Dear brother of Hanna Bendek, Germany. Brother-in-law of the Rishmawi and Rahomme families. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of the Sproviero family. Predeceased by his parents Esa and Victoria Bendek, brothers George and Atella Bendek and sister Yvonne Rahomme. Nick was a loving husband, father, grandfather and good friend to many. He was a hard working man and loved to travel. Nick loved to make people laugh and was always quick with a joke. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by all who loved and knew him. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Thursday, October 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Deacon Lyle Lalonge officiating.
