Obituary of Lorna Balgarvie Garrett

GARRETT, LORNA BALGARNIE SOMERVILLE – On April 16, 2008 at Bluewater Health, Sarnia after a long illness borne with grace and courage. Beloved wife of the late Dr. John M. Garrett. Cherished mother of Janet (Brian) and Catherine (Aras). Predeceased by her parents, Robert W. Somerville of Toronto & Della and William Eustes of Niagara-on-the-Lake and her sister Gwyneth Culbert of Toronto. Survived by her dear grandchildren Caitlin, Jamie, Vanda, Amanda, Adam and Adrian and her sister-in-law Betty Garrett (late Dr. James K. Garrett) and her nieces Barbara, Tish and Julie. Lorna will be missed by her devoted companion Robert McGregor White. Arrangements entrusted to THE McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, (519-344-3131). Lorna has asked and her family honours her wishes that no funeral service will be held. Cremation and a private family ceremony have taken place. The family would like to thank Dr. Rex Garrett, Kay Mott, Roberta Hurak and the remarkable nurses and staff at Bluewater Health, Norman Street, Continuing Care for their kindness and care.
