Obituary of Margaret Turcan

TURCAN, MARGARET (MACHAVA) – Peacefully at Bluewater Health, Sarnia, Margaret Turcan died on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the age of 79. Beloved wife of the late Jerry Turcan (1988). Margaret is survived by her dear cousin-in-law Alice (late Louis) Stanik, Alice's children Donna Hebert & her husband Mike and their children Kaley and Kyle; Dave Stanik & his partner Debbie and Jim Stanik & his wife Linda. Predeceased by her parents John & Margaret Machava. Margaret was a very loving and giving person, always putting others before herself. She loved the simple things in life and especially enjoyed gardening and animals. The family would like to express their gratitude to the Springmarsh Place owners, Glen & Julia, and the other residents for the friendship and compassion they gave to Margaret during the last few years. Margaret was blessed with many great friends who enhanced her life and made her smile. Visitation will be held at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Friday, September 12, 2014, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Jim Higgins at Our Lady of Mercy Roman Catholic Church at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 12 immediately following visitation. Cremation to follow.
