Obituary of John Frank Norman Williams

WILLIAMS, John F. – At Bluewater Health, Mitton Site on Thursday, September 18, 2008, John died at the age of 65. Beloved husband of Irene J. (nee Lajoie) for 30 years. Loving father of Suzette Williams (Ray D’ Auria), John Williams, Stephen (Claudia) Williams, Michelle Knudsen-Gray (Cory Roe), Christopher (Tammy) Knudsen. Proud grandfather of Justin, Matthew, Brad, Adam, Colin, Mitchell, John Jr., Peter, Emily, Brandon, Jacob, Joshua, and Amanda. Dear brother of Jackie (Randy) Martin; and brother-in-law of Carol (the late Les) Szabo, Madeleine Lajoie, and Pat (Mel) Sparks. Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews and close friends, Peter (Beatrice) Wood, Lou (Geraldine) Gasparik, and Murray (Pauline) McMaster. Predeceased by his parents John and Louise Williams. Special thanks to Richard Beauchamp, Dr. M. O’Mahony, Dr. B. Kostik, Dr. B. Sahay and all the staff in Cardiac Care at Bluewater Health. John was employed with Dow Chemical for 32 years, and in his spare time enjoyed bowling at Marcin Lanes and golfing with his buddies. Please consider honouring John by signing your organ donor card. Christina St., Sarnia on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of John’s life will be held in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Monday, September 22nd at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by Bill Strachan. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
