Obituary of Eleanor Pirt

PIRT, Mary Eleanor (Sweeney) – Of Sarnia, died suddenly on Friday, September 5, 2008 in her 84th year. Dear mother of Molly (David) Brost of Kincardine, Ann Haines (Thomas Heggarty) of St. Catharine’s, Father John Pirt of London, Joyce (Pat) Brouwers, and Dave (Deana) Pirt of Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Steven and Kevin Brost, Colin and Jasmyn Brouwers, Joshua and Rachel Pirt. Sadly missed by her sister, Marion Bailey of Marblehead, Mass; and sister-in-law Peggy Harrington of Pentincton, B.C. Predeceased by her husband, Jack “Tex”, her parents, Frank and Mabel (Surette) Sweeney, sisters Agnes, Lillian, Evelyn, Margaret, Gena and Reta, brother Clifton, and son-in-law Paul Haines. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict’s Church on Monday, September 8, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation will follow with a private family interment to take place at Kincardine Cemetery at a later date.
