Obituary of Jean Elizabeth Dalziel

DALZIEL, Jean Elizabeth (Pauling)– At Bluewater Health, Continuing Care on Saturday, September 6, 2008, Jean died in her 92nd year. Wife of the late William M. Dalziel (1959). Loving mother of Wm. John “Jack” Dalziel (Aileen Miller), Gwendolyn J. Farmer and Eric (Wendy) Dalziel. Grandmother of Maureen (Wayne) O’Grady, Michael Farmer, Jane (Paul) Arthurs-Dalziel, Andrea (Pat Cahill) Dalziel, Megan (Adrian) Broughton, Craig (Sarah) Dalziel. Great-grandmother of Breanne and Kyle, Ryann, McKenna and Cole, Alisha, Benjamin and Claire, Rachel and Nicholas, Owen and Emma, Olyvia and Charlotte. Survived by sister-in-law Kay Pauling and many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to niece Sheila Redden. Predeceased by brothers Wm. “Mac” Pauling and Francis “Duke” Pauling, sister Anna Causley, son-in-law Dennis Farmer and great-grandson Jesse Wm. Farmer. Jean was a member of Paterson Memorial Church and the Nora Seaton Women’s Group; a longtime employee of Sears Canada, retiring in 1982, and also a past member of the Malcolm Cameron Chapter of the IODE. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday, September 15th from 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at McKenzie & Blundy Chapel on Tuesday, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Lorna Thompson officiating. Interment Lakeview Cemetery.
