Obituary of Jerry Santavy

SANTAVY, Jerry – At Bluewater Health, Norman Site, on Tuesday, March 31, 2009, Jerry died at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Mary (MacDougall) for 52 years. Loving father of Michael (Sonya) and Paula. Proud grandfather of Larysa, Gerald, and Frances. Dear brother of Tony (Pat), Algonac, Michigan. Predeceased by three children Anna (1959), James (1961), and Elizabeth (1962) and his parents Anna and Antonin. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Jerry was a long time employee of Imperial Oil, retiring in 1992. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Thursday, April 2nd from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 8:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardins at Sacred Heart Church on Friday, April 3rd at 11:30 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
