Obituary of Robert Guy Bisson

BISSON, “Bob” Robert Guy – Peacefully at Bluewater Health – Mitton Site on April 3, 2009, Bob died at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Joyce for 51 years. Loving father of Diane, Toronto, Gerry Bisson, Sarnia and Joanne (Al) Pyette, Corunna. Proud “poppy” of Sherri, Sarnia, Jennifer and Leanne Pyette, Corunna. Dear brother of Ernest (Cecile), Hamilton, Pierre (Mona), Sarnia, Marguerite (Joe) Pavlenyi, Quebec; and brother-in-law of Alex Marsh, Sarnia, Marcel Sylvain, Ottawa, and Laurette, Ottawa. Also survived by mother-in-law Irene McEachen, brothers-in-law Allen and Dean McEachen, Sarnia, Lorne Silver, Oshawa. Predeceased by his parents Ida and Mendoza, sisters Madeleine Marsh, Sylvia (Raymond) Bond, Frances Sylvain, brother Gerald, and sister-in-law Mary Lou Silver. Bob retired after 40 years of service in the lab at Suncor and was a member of the Knights of Columbus since 1971. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be offered at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Len Desjardins at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, April 7th at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
