Obituary of Giuseppe "Joe" Rondinelli

RONDINELLI, JOE (GIUSEPPE) - At home surrounded by his family, Joe Rondinelli died on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at the age of 57. Beloved husband of Marina (DeSena). Loving father of Dr. Michael Rondinelli & his fiance Dr. Reem Hallal, Vanessa Rondinelli and Melissa Rondinelli. Dear Brother of Ray Rondinelli & his wife Franca. Cherished son-in-law of Gisele DeSena. Brother-in-law of Sandra Molyneaux & husband Tim and Francis DeSena & wife Catherine. Also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews. Predeceased by his parents Arselia & Leonardo Rondinelli, brother Silvio Rondinelli and father-in-law Ennio DeSena. Joe's true passion was his family, always putting their needs first and took great pride in their success. He was very involved in his children's activities and currently served as President of the Lakers Basketball Association. Joe was a true entrepreneur and was the founder and co-owner of many successful businesses including Rondo's Pizza Plus in Bright's Grove, Surelock Mini Storage and Mr. Donut. Family & friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Monday, July 21, 2014 from 1-4 & 6-9 p.m. where prayers will offered at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Bright's Grove on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Mausoleum. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Bluewater Health Foundation, Oncology Dept. 89 Norman St. Sarnia, ON N7T 6S3 to help local patients undergoing treatment.
