Obituary of Rose Lindsey

LINDSEY, Rose Marie – At Bluewater Health, Palliative Care on Wednesday, December 23, 2009, Rose died peacefully at the age of 90. Dear wife of the late Walter (2004). Loving mother of Richard Lindsey, Cathy Vilaca and her husband Joseph, the late Janet Lindsey-Ludgate (2004); and mother-in-law of George Ludgate. Proud grandma of Stephanie Lindsey-Blaauboer and her husband Peter, Shawn Lindsey and his wife Tammy, Matthew and Lauren Vilaca; and great-grandma to several great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Antoinette and Vincent, brothers Lawrence, John, Nicholas, Frank, Domenic and sisters Josephine and Mary. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. A Celebration of Rose’s life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, December 28th at 11:30 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Pt.
