TURNER, SARAH BURROWS - Passed away at Bluewater Health, Mitton Site, on Saturday, January 13, 2007 at the age of 80. Survived by her beloved husband of 36 years, Douglas Turner of Sarnia; step-daughter Heather (Richard) Fraser; grandsons Glenn and Stuart Fraser all of Scarborough; brothers-in-law Dick (Joyce) Turner of Windsor, Ron (Laurie) Turner of St. Catharine's, and many nieces and nephews. Sarah was blessed with many friends, especially Lynda, Liam, and Lucas Palmer of Windsor. She is predeceased by her parents Harold and Elsie Austin, a sister Elizabeth Woodward and a step-daughter Beverley Townsend. Sarah was born in Louisville, KY and worked there and in Rochester, MN before emigrating to Canada in 1970. She enjoyed traveling, cruising and playing bridge. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 with Rev. Charles Routley officiating. Interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery. If desired, donations will be gratefully received by the Canadian Cancer Society, 714 Lite St., Pt. Edward N7V 1A6 or the Multiple Sclerosis Society, 300 N. Christina St., Sarnia N7T 5V5.
