Obituary of Dorothy Megan Clifton

CLIFTON, Dorothy Megan (Bradbury) – At Bluewater Health on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the age of 78. Dear mother of Sally-Anne (John) Dooman, Kitchener and Michael (Marhee) Clifton, Waterloo. Loving grandmother of Kristen (Gord) Laughton, Jamie Sebastian, Ben Siapas, David Clifton and Hannah (Miguel) Contreras Clifton. Great-grandmother of Elizabeth, Anna, Sophie, Thomas and Rachel. Sister of Jean (late Dennis) Hill, Sarnia. Also survived by Sally-Anne and Michael’s father Alan Clifton, Collingwood and many cousins, nieces, nephews and their families. Dorothy will be especially missed by her beloved niece Susan Hill, Thedford. Predeceased by parents George & Ethel Bradbury and sister Valerie Hill. Dorothy was very involved with Theatre Sarnia from 1951-1969 and again from 1991-2003. She won the Best Actress Award in 1967 and again in 2003 with Theatre Sarnia. Dorothy was a volunteer with Twin Lakes Terrace, the blood donor clinic and Vision Nursing Home. Visitation will be held at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Sunday, March 8 from 2-5 p.m. Cremation will follow. The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1400 Murphy Rd., Sarnia.
