Obituary of William Herbert Taylor

TAYLOR, William Herbert – William Taylor died surrounded by his family, at Bluewater Health on Tuesday, March 31, 2015. Beloved husband of Madeleine (nee Levac), young lovers for over 50 years. Loving father of Jeff Taylor, London, Pam Sheffield, Sarnia, and the late Rod Taylor(2015) & his wife Caryn, Sarnia. Cherished grandfather of Amy & Joel Sheffield & his wife Nicky, Kevin, Chris, Katy and Nick Taylor. Great-grandfather of Jax William Sheffield. Dear brother-in-law of MarieJeanne Louks (Donald), Sarnia, and Reginald Levac, Vancouver. William’s passion was his family. He had a love for woodworking, fishing, and listening to the blues. William was an engineer and was devoted to his career. He had just retired from SNC Lavalin. He was a long time usher at Sacred Heart Church and a new member of the Knights of Columbus. Visitation will be at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. on Monday, April 6, 2015 where prayers will be offered at 8:30p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Vince Gulikers at Sacred Heart Church on Tuesday, April 7th., at 11:00a.m. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, friends who wish may send memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation, 774 London Rd. Sarnia, ON N7T 4Y1(cheques only at the funeral home please).
