Obituary of Enzo Spizzirri

SPIZZIRRI, Enzo - Suddenly at Bluewater Health on Friday, June 19, 2015 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of the late Magda. Dear father of Lou Spizzirri, Sarnia. Grumpa to Maggie and Jodi. Brother-in-law of Anna Spizzirri, Corunna. Predeceased by a brother John. Uncle of Frank, Louie and Anna. Enzo worked for C.N. Rail from 1951-1959 in Armstrong, Ontario. In 1959 he moved to Sarnia where he became involved in the restaurant business. Enzo opened many local restaurants including the Continental on Mitton St., Enzo's, Ciccio's and Firenze's. After Magda's death in 1983, Enzo eased into retirement and looked after his garden and his dogs. He lived at Afton Park Place for the last 8 years. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at 11 a.m. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Mausoleum.
