Obituary of John Alfred Dickens

DICKENS, John Alfred – Peacefully surrounded by his family at Bluewater Health Palliative Care on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at the age of 79. Beloved husband of Florence (Bourque). Dear father of Paul (Estelle) Durocher, Sarnia, the late Gary Durocher, Dennis Durocher, Leamington, Stephen (late Mionne) Durocher, Wyoming, Patrick (Yolande) Durocher, Sarnia, Denise Durocher, Sarnia, Laurie Duarte, Sarnia and the late Joseph Durocher. Brother of Sheila (Brian) Bucknill, Coventry, England, Carol Tollett, Brampton, the late Susan (John) Thompson, Hamilton and Yvonne (Peter) James, Coventry, England. Also surviving are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents John & Elsie Dickens. The family would like to thank John & Florence’s fantastic neighbours Andy & Fran Simon and Bonnie & Robert McGrath for their continued support. Visitation at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 9-10:45 a.m. The funeral service will be held immediately following in the McKenzie & Blundy Chapel at 11 a.m. and will be officiated by Fr.
