Obituary of Elizabeth Ann Roberts

ROBERTS, Elizabeth Ann - Surrounded by her family at Vision Nursing Home on Sunday, September 20, 2015, Betty-Ann Roberts died at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late John Roberts (2007). Loved mother of Lynda, Sarnia, Jo-Ann Spindler (Eric), White Rock, B.C., Paula McCormick (Dan), Sarnia, Mary Roberts (Brad Maguire), Bright's Grove, Jackie Houston (Dave), Corunna and Lisa Nienhuis (Kraig), Sarnia. Proud grandmother of Dara, Nicole(Jay), Andrea(John), Johnny, Brendan, Tiffany, Meagan(Randy), Rory(Maureen), Mallory(Grant), Carly, Riley, Nash and Ryder and great-grandmother of Evan, Ethan, Cole, Hailey, Lochlan and Logan. Predeceased by her parents Doris & Harold McLaughlin, sister Margaret Roberts. Betty-Ann was a devoted member of St. Peter's & St. Benedict's C.W.L. for 60 years. She spent many years volunteering her time at the church, hospital gift shop and personal support for the disabled. Betty-Ann was an avid bowler and golfer. She liked to read, do puzzles, gardening and loved the company of her cat. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Steven Savel at St. Benedict's Church on Wednesday, September 23rd at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
