Obituary of Eleanor Joyce Conant

CONANT, Eleanor - It is deep with sadness that we announce the passing of Eleanor in her 75th year on Monday, September 7, 2015. She was the cherished wife of the late Bob Head, the beloved daughter of the late Margaret and Lawrence Conant, the dear sister of Reginald, Raymond and Donald (Patricia Conant) and loving mother of Robert Head (Karen Newland) and Donald Conant (Lenka Kucerova). She will also be missed by her many cousins, nieces, nephews, family and friends. Born in Whitney, Ontario she spent most of her life in the Sarnia area, especially enjoying the last few years at her home overlooking Lake Huron with her faithful dog Dolly by her side. She enjoyed travelling and particularly enjoyed her trips to Scandinavia where she had proudly traced her genealogical heritage back to. As per Eleanor’s wish, a private family graveside service was held at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of her life on Sunday, October 4th from 1:00-4:00 at 4060 Blue Point Drive, Plympton-Wyoming.
