Obituary of Douglas John Matheson

MATHESON, Douglas John – Unexpectedly at Bluewater Health on Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at the age of 89, surrounded by his loving family. Husband of the late Vivian Matheson (1994). Dear father of Scott (Sharon) Matheson, Mark Matheson and Lori Matheson (Gary O’Neil) all of Sarnia. Loving Poppa of Cassandra Matheson (Jeff Streeter), Kendall (Steve) Lapp and Christina Matheson. Great-poppa of Vivianne Lapp. Twin brother of George (late Dorothy) Matheson, Southampton. Much loved best friend of Paula Crozier. Doug was well known in the area as an accomplished musician and real estate agent. He played his saxophone up and down the Lake Huron shores. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Doug’s life will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion, 286 N.
