Carolyn:
I'm sorry to read about your Mom's passing. I was thinking of her this evening and I decided to see if I could find her in Sarnia - a wee bit late.
Often when she was still in London I would see her in the mornings walking to Western when I was out for my run. I missed seeing her after her move to Sarnia and she would cross my mind over the years since then as a missed friendly face.

Carolyn, I am so very sorry to hear about your Mum. I remember her from our high school and university days. She always had an open door - even when you weren't there :-). My heart goes out to you. Sending you comfort, love and hugs. Vanessa

So sorry to read of your loss. Belle was a good neighbour, always a smile and friendly chat when she walked by, or when she came into DeGroots. My sincere condolences, Lynn

Carolyn, I'm so very sorry for the loss of your mom. Your mom helped me so much. She was always there for me. When I was down and out the first person I went to was your mom. Right away, she made some calls and right away I was into a specialist. She took the kids for a sleep over to give me a break. You were both good with Lori and Tara. I owe your mom big time. She always spoke about your kids. I remember one little story she told me. When she was still working and went down to visit you, she always made sure she had something in her trunk for Taylor (Justine was not born yet). As soon as your mom drove in your driveway, Taylor bolted out of the house and headed right to her trunk. And asked "do you have anything in your trunk for me". She laughed so hard when she was telling me this story.
Take good care of yourself and just remember you were the love of her life.
Darla

With deepest sympathy on your loss. I worked with Belle for years in the medical school and attended school with Carolyn when I was young. I was saddened to hear of her passing. I wish her family peace and comfort.

Carolyn,
I was very sorry to hear from you about your mother's passing. Having lost my mum less than a year ago, I know full well the grief and sadness you are feeling right now.
I know that the thoughts are no doubt overwhelming that nothing ever will quite be the same. That certainly is true, however, soon you will have the memory of your mom that will live on in your heart and mind as well as in the hearts and minds of all of those who knew and loved her.
