PETKO, Maria - At Trillium Villa on Friday, October 14, 2016 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Jan. Dear mother of John (Wanda) Petko, Sarnia and Mary Ann (Dennis) Sowinski, Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Dana Petko (Mark Vanderheide), David Petko, Debra Petko, Kendra (Rob Thouless) and Trevor Sowinski (Megan). Great-grandmother of Max and Sam Vanderheide, Leah Sowinski and Justin, William and Emily Thouless. Predeceased by parents Josef & Barbara Garbar, sisters Anna and Margreta and brother Josef in Slovakia. Friends will be received at the McKENZIE & BLUNDY FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 431. N. Christina St., Sarnia on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Benedict's Church on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. Interment Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery.
